I wanted to create a brand I could represent the area I grew up in. I had never seen anyone with a shirt that said "Salinas, California" on it and I got the idea to start this brand. The name came from a sketch I created in High School that I found on an old notebook.
I wanted this brand to be attainable and affordable to anyone that wanted one. That was the first and foremost ideal for this brand. I continue this on going ideal with any new designs I bring out to the public. Pricing items at the price that can be reached by anyone.
I created the first version of the logo based on the notebook sketches, a year passed and I grew as a designer, learned new skills and evolved the brand look into what it is now. A cleaner, more modern look that can easily be applied to several mediums, but keeping the original medium (that being a T-Shirt) the primary focus. Below are some designs I have created.
